About
Elastic Instruments, formerly MoMinstruments, is an independent music software label with over 12 years of experience creating innovative instruments and effects for musicians. Originally founded by Oliver Greschke (O-G-SUS) in collaboration with Mouse on Mars’ Jan St. Werner and Andi Toma, the project focuses on developing tools with a distinctive sound, intuitive workflows, and a strong emphasis on playability.
Nowadays Elastic Instruments is mainly run by Oliver Greschke, with occasional help of talented freelancers and other agents. Having started with iOS music apps, the focus shifted to building professional AU and VST3 plugins for macOS and Windows – from synthesizers to creative audio effects.

WretchUp
An effect-instrument for the iPhone. Designed by Mouse on Mars, developed by Florian Grote and Peter Kirn and finalized by Oliver Greschke, it is a “monster of feedback delay madness” (Create Digital Music).
Second release
Elastic Drums
By Oliver Greschke – a great commercial success and one of the best selling and best known drum apps in the iTunes store. A flexible drum synthesizer with extreme sound manipulation possibilities.
Third release
fluXpad
A drawing-based sample sequencer developed by Mouse on Mars and Jan Trützschler, which gained recognition from artists such as Justin Vernon (Bon Iver).
Fourth release
Elastic FX
By Oliver Greschke – a 4-channel multi-effects processor that is easy and intuitive to play, while offering complex options for shaping sound.
Collaboration
Flip Sampler
Oliver Greschke is also the head of the development team behind Flip Sampler, a collaboration with YouTube star and music innovator Andrew Huang. Released 2021 for iOS and 2022 for Android, it is one of the most known sample apps on both platforms.
Live looping
Molli Looper
A fresh take on live looping, developed with long time collaborator Matt Davey, combining the immediacy of classic hardware loopers with a modern, experimental edge.
Sequencer
Elastic Melody
A three-track sequencer featuring an analog-style sound engine and four master effects, noted for its distinctive character and accessible workflow.
Latest release
Elastic OSC
A playful synthesizer featuring multiple oscillator modes and based on the DSP code of the Mutable Instruments Plaits hardware — with it, the platform takes another step forward.
